Hi there!
If you don't know me already, my name is Kyle Farr. I am the brains behind the Monocle Entertainment operation and am excited to being more actively sharing my original content!
In addition to being a live sound engineer and party/wedding DJ, I am also a freelance journalist for the Ithaca Times. I write about the talented local artists from around the Finger Lakes and Upstate New York as well as national acts that may have come through town. I will be posting a few articles I have already written in the past to start this blog off. Many of the articles may seem outdated because you already missed the show, but if I posted it, I felt there was enough content about the band themselves or a project outside of the show itself you might find interesting. You never know when one of these artists will come back either!
Hopefully in the future, I will also be producing a podcast/YouTube channel to spotlight the local bands in the area - hopefully interviewing people as well as airing their original music, keep you up to date with the best shows in the area, and whatever else comes to mind so stay tuned for that, though it may be a little while before that's up and running.
